A forward-thinking and design-led civil and structural engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their expanding team in Leicester. Established over a decade ago, the practice is recognised for delivering innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of UK and international projects. These include large-scale residential developments, commercial buildings, heritage restorations, cultural spaces, and specialist structural challenges such as sculptures and bespoke infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious engineer who thrives on creative problem-solving, wants to work closely with architects and developers, and values design quality as much as technical precision.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality structural designs and technical documentation across a broad spectrum of projects
- Use modern engineering software (eg, AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla) for design and detailing
- Undertake site visits and provide technical support during construction
- Liaise with external consultants and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Participate in all project stages, from concept through to completion
- Apply creative thinking to deliver cost-efficient, buildable, and sustainable solutions
Requirements:
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of UK building regulations and design codes
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with experience using structural design tools

- Interest or experience in heritage, conservation, or refurbishment work is a bonus
