We're looking for an experienced Design & Build Lead to take ownership of the delivery of a major new facilities project supporting one of the UK's largest offshore wind developments.
You'll lead the project from procurement through design, construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safe, compliant and successful delivery while managing contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Design & Build delivery from tender through to completion.
- Manage D&B contractors, consultants and key project stakeholders.
- Oversee design development, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, Building Safety Act and project requirements.
- Monitor programme, budget, quality, risk and HSE performance.
- Chair progress meetings and provide project reporting.
- Drive contractor performance and resolve technical and commercial issues.
Requirements
- ~8+ years' experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects.
- ~ Strong Design & Build project delivery experience.
- ~ Experience administering JCT Design & Build contracts.
- ~ Good understanding of CDM 2015 and UK construction legislation.
- ~ Background in commercial buildings, industrial facilities or civil infrastructure.
- ~ Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- ~ SMSTS and CSCS required.
- ~ Degree/HNC/HND in Construction Management, Engineering, Surveying, Architecture or similar preferred.
