A leading engineering firm is looking for Drawing Management Technicians to join our team in Yorkshire. As a specialist service provider in the power sector, we offer tailored design and drawing management services across the UK. This role provides an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking a dynamic and varied position. Candidates will gain or apply skills in AutoCAD, Document Control, Auditing, and Administration, contributing to key frameworks and projects.
The position includes both office and site-based work, with travel required across the UK. Overnight stays may be necessary, with expenses covered, including accommodation, meals, and a stay-away bonus.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure document and drawing accuracy
- Conduct site surveys and provide reports
- Align and verify site drawing indexes and contract document lists
- Update and modify drawings using site hand mark-ups
- Establish and maintain site filing systems
- Perform on-site drawing scanning and document control
- Collaborate with teams and act as the client interface on-site
- Work independently or within a team as required
