On behalf of our client, a leading advisory firm in the renewable energy space, we are seeking a Renewable Energy Advisory Consultant with a strong technical background and significant experience across the renewable energy sector—particularly in offshore and onshore wind.
This role is part of the client’s Renewable Energy team within their Business Investor Advisory division. The successful candidate will support complex, high-value transactions and lead strategic advisory initiatives for a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver technical due diligence on renewable energy infrastructure transactions, with a focus on offshore and onshore wind assets
- Provide specialist input into renewable energy consulting mandates, including strategy development, market analysis, and policy advisory
- Assess and communicate technical risks, technology choices, project performance, and operational assumptions
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical integrity and commercial viability of transactions
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Represent the client in project meetings, industry forums, and external stakeholder discussions
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally with offshore and onshore wind project exposure
- Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc, MBA, or equivalent) in Engineering, Electronics, or related areas
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation
- Proven experience in technical due diligence of renewable energy assets
- Strong commercial insight with a record of successful delivery on complex energy projects
