A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a major substation project as part of a significant UK infrastructure upgrade programme. This is a high-profile scheme involving greenfield site development, complex civil works, and large-scale construction activity. This role offers the opportunity to lead a flagship project within the UK's evolving energy infrastructure sector.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end construction delivery on a large-scale project (£30m+)
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and programme performance
- Drive HSE compliance and quality standards on site
- Oversee design coordination and procurement
- Take commercial ownership (budget, risk, delivery outcomes)
What We're Looking For
- Senior Project Manager / Project Manager background in civils or infrastructure
- Experience delivering major projects (£30m+)
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3 / NEC4)
- Background in energy, utilities, or substations (highly desirable)
- SMSTS (essential)
