Base pay range

Support engineering teams with tasks such as:

Managing grid connection components on both contestable and private sides at high voltages (e.g., 132kV, 33kV), including preparation of layout diagrams, protection schematics, cable schedules, SCADA wiring, and related documentation.

Specifying technical equipment and collaborating with suppliers and procurement, covering switchgear, protection panels, containment systems, SCADA/PPC panels, protection devices, interface units, and battery systems.

Determining cable sizing and producing routing documents.

Drafting preliminary work packages and scope documents to assist contractor pricing.

Preparing capital expenditure estimates, calculating energy savings, and performing financial analyses.

Participating in project status meetings and building detailed knowledge of project terms and specifications.

Performing other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Engineering degree, preferably electrical.

Working towards professional engineer accreditation.

Solid understanding of electrical design principles.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
