Work Pattern: Mon to Fri, 6 month Contract - Hybrid
We're recruiting for a Project Manager to join a Capital Delivery Team to work on an electricity infrastructure project.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the project team and delivery partners to assess acceleration opportunities across the delivery phase, in areas such as modularisation, offsite construction, digital substation technologies, and standardised commissioning approaches.
- Produce robust impact assessments to quantify programme, cost, and delivery benefits.
- Support the implementation of agreed opportunities into the Works Information and Programme Capture and develop best practice from implementation for wider adoption across the portfolio.
- Identify and evaluate further opportunities to enhance delivery performance.
- Deliver in line with project values: safety, programme certainty, quality, cost performance, and collaborative working.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in engineering and construction, including delivery, planning, and resourcing of major infrastructure projects.
- A professional qualification in Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
- Experience operating under NEC3 contracts and implementing change.
- Proven capability in complex programme development and management.
- Familiarity with core AC transmission substation systems and delivery (desirable).
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
