Quantity Surveyor | Freelance Contract | Major Infrastructure Project
I'm currently supporting a leading infrastructure contractor with an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project in the South West.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a QS looking to further develop their commercial career while working alongside experienced Commercial Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors on a large-scale project.
The Role
- Support the commercial management of a major infrastructure project.
- Assist with subcontractor management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Support the administration of NEC contracts and compensation events.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial documentation.
- Help identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
We're looking for
✔ Previous Quantity Surveying experience within infrastructure, utilities or civil engineering.
✔ Good understanding of NEC contracts.
✔ Experience with subcontractor management and cost reporting.
✔ Strong communication and organisational skills.
✔ Eagerness to develop within a busy commercial team.
