Key Responsibilities · Delivery of detailed protection and control design for transmission and distribution projects (33kV-132kV) · Production of protection schematics, single line diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation · Review and interpretation of client requirements to develop appropriate engineering solutions · Attendance at client and project meetings, representing engineering input clearly and professionally · Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders including DNO/DSOs · Support project delivery from early-stage design through to completion · Contribution to technical reports, design reviews, and engineering assurance processes · Mentoring and supporting junior engineers where required · Ensuring compliance with relevant UK, European, and industry standards Requirements · Minimum 5 years' experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Protection & Control · Proven experience delivering protection design within UK transmission and distribution projects · Strong understanding of high-voltage systems (33kV-132kV) · Experience producing detailed protection design documentation and technical deliverables · Working knowledge of CDM regulations and associated design risk responsibilities · Ability to work independently and manage multiple project demands ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
