I’m currently recruiting for 2 experienced Quantity Surveyors to join an established organisation on an initial 12-month contract, with the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects. This is a great opportunity for a commercially focused QS who enjoys taking ownership of projects and working closely with operational and delivery teams.
The Role
- Take responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of a number of projects, supporting their successful financial and commercial delivery from start to finish.
- Taking ownership of the commercial performance of assigned projects.
- Managing costs, budgets, valuations and financial reporting.
- Supporting contract administration and commercial management.
- Managing variations, change and commercial risk.
- Working closely with project and delivery teams.
- Monitoring project performance and identifying commercial opportunities.
- Supporting the successful completion and close-out of projects.
- Acting as a key commercial point of contact for your assigned projects.
About You
- Strong commercial and contractual experience.
- Previous experience within the construction or built environment sector.
- Experience managing multiple projects or work packages.
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- MRICS or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid CSCS certification.
