I’m currently recruiting for 2 experienced Quantity Surveyors to join an established organisation on an initial 12-month contract, with the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects.
This is a great opportunity for a commercially focused QS who enjoys taking ownership of projects and working closely with operational and delivery teams.
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of a number of projects, supporting their successful financial and commercial delivery from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of the commercial performance of assigned projects
- Managing costs, budgets, valuations and financial reporting
- Supporting contract administration and commercial management
- Managing variations, change and commercial risk
- Working closely with project and delivery teams
- Monitoring project performance and identifying commercial opportunities
- Supporting the successful completion and close-out of projects
- Acting as a key commercial point of contact for your assigned projects
About You
We’re looking for Quantity Surveyors who can demonstrate:
- Strong commercial and contractual experience
- Previous experience within the construction or built environment sector
- Experience managing multiple projects or work packages
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- MRICS or equivalent professional experience
- Valid CSCS certification
