Freelance Planner / Planning Manager – Nuclear 📍 Glasgow / Helensburgh / Hybrid 📋 Freelance / Contract 🔐 SC Clearance Required / UK Sole National I’m currently recruiting for Freelance Planners and Planning Managers to support major projects within the nuclear sector. These are contract opportunities for experienced planning professionals with backgrounds across construction, infrastructure, engineering or major projects. The Opportunity Depending on level, you’ll be responsible for: * Developing and maintaining project programmes. * Managing baseline programmes and programme updates. * Progress monitoring and reporting. * Critical path analysis. * Programme forecasting and risk management. * Identifying delays and developing mitigation/recovery plans. * Supporting change management and programme controls. * Working closely with project, commercial, engineering and delivery teams. * Engaging with contractors and wider project stakeholders. I'm looking for: 🔹 Planners / Senior Planners 🔹 Planning Managers 🔹 Strong P6 Primavera and/or MS Project experience 🔹 Construction, infrastructure, engineering or major projects experience 🔹 Strong programme management and project controls background 🔹 Experience with critical path, forecasting and progress reporting 🔹 Nuclear / defence experience is advantageous 🔹 UK Sole National 🔹 Must hold or be able to obtain SC Security Clearance 📍 Glasgow / Helensburgh – Hybrid If you're an experienced Planner or Planning Manager available for a freelance opportunity and interested in working on major nuclear projects, drop me a message for a confidential discussion
