We’re looking for a Project Cost Engineer to join a Project Controls team in Aberdeen. In this role, you’ll support project delivery by managing cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and financial reporting across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project cost trackers and forecasts
  • Manage variation order (VO) tracking, approvals, and documentation
  • Support timesheet reviews and cost allocation
  • Coordinate billing requests, invoice approvals, and PO tracking
  • Analyse cost performance and support project financial reporting
  • Liaise with internal teams and clients to resolve cost and billing queries

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project cost engineering or project cost control
  • Experience managing project costs and reporting across the project lifecycle
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Experience with project controls systems (e.g., Primavera P6, ERP tools) is beneficial
  • Experience in Oil and Gas, Offshore or Subsea industries
