Duration: 3-6 Month Rolling

Location: Carlow

Role: Develop and maintain 3D SolidWorks model from high-level concept through to detailed design (LOD 450 level) for containerised power generation equipment. Perform full package layout design and integration, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, equipment manufacturer requirements and relevant standards. Generate assembly drawings, fabrication drawings and bill of materials. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team (mechanical, electrical, piping, structural).

Skills/Experience:

  • Must be expert user of SolidWorks
  • Demonstrate previous experience working at a senior design engineer level
  • Experience designing generator packages, power generation equipment, complex machinery or containerised industrial systems.
  • Experience implementing DfMA principles for volume manufacture.
