Background

This role has been created to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of cash management within the company’s treasury department.

The business operates three invoice discounting (ID) facilities across the globe, and this role has evolved to place a much greater emphasis on funding analysis, reporting and headroom management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual keen to build a career within finance and treasury.

It would particularly suit someone analytical who enjoys working with data and wants to make a tangible, proactive impact on the group’s funding, cash and headroom position.

Responsibilities

  • Record and allocate customer payments accurately.
  • Perform daily cash allocation and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and distribute daily cash and receivables reports.
  • Analyse aged debt reports, highlighting payment concerns and risk trends, working closely with the AR team to resolve outstanding issues
  • Monitor invoice discounting facilities, funding availability and headroom.
  • Investigate and resolve issues affecting funding, including aged debt, credit limits, missing purchase orders and disallowed balances.
  • Identify and elevate funding risks and opportunities, working with internal teams to maximise cash availability.
  • Produce dashboards and reports to support cash flow, receivables and funding performance.
  • Assist with audit requests and provide administrative support to the Finance team as required.

  • A proactive, inquisitive approach - able to anticipate issues and act before they impact the funding or headroom position.
  • Confidence preparing and presenting clear reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

This role would require you full time in the office for the first three months and after this you can work one day per week from home
