The role
Working as a key member of the Global Bid & Solutions team, who work closely with the sales team to win new and maintain existing clients, through a competitive bidding process.
The role will support the bid team and wider business in managing bids and tenders, by collating & researching company information to win opportunities and gain market share. You will be instrumental in supporting the tender process and maintaining a group Knowledge Hub.
The Bid Coordinator will support the creation of winning tender documents. A high-profile role working across our network of international offices.
Core Bid Duties:
- Assisting in the coordination of Bid Proposals for our portfolio of services, including supplier information, PQQs, global frameworks, MSPs, RPOs, SOW and consultancy.
- Support the planning and coordination of the production and delivery of bids to ensure these are delivered within submission timescales.
- Ensuring quality of bid responses always achieve top scoring and target win rate.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication within the company of information relating to production and delivery of bid proposals.
- Working with marketing to ensure bid responses and presentations are congruent with brand guidelines.
Other:
- Coordinate and manage the quarterly update.
- Maintain bid library.
- Manage case studies, ensuring they are as up to date as possible.
- Manage TED inbox and escalate new opportunities.
Requirements:
- Excellent English both written and spoken, additional languages are a bonus
- A relevant degree or equivalent by experience
- Some commercial experience preferred, or aptitude to perform well.
- Assertive communicator and influencer, tailoring communication style to the target audience and ability to achieve buy-in from people.
- High levels of editing and writing skills. Able to structure, edit/review and write technical and non-technical content to answer commercials opportunities.
- Self-motivated and self-starter.
- Demonstrable organisational skills.
- Displays a positive can-do attitude.
- Able to perform under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Team player and strong work ethic.
*This role is based mostly on site with the option to work 1 day from home upon passing probation*
