I'm currently looking for two experienced planners to support engineering and construction projects in Barnard Castle.
These opportunities sit within a long-term project framework, with potential for contract extensions.
- Develop and maintain project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Integrate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities into coordinated schedules.
- Monitor progress, critical paths, delays and programme risks.
- Produce look-ahead programmes, progress reports and schedule updates.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, construction teams and subcontractors.
- Support programme changes and recovery planning.
- Lead planning activities and coordinate programme interfaces.
- Review and challenge subcontractor programmes.
- Advise project management on schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to other planners.
What We're Looking For
- Strong practical experience with Primavera P6.
- Background in planning engineering or construction projects.
- Knowledge of critical path analysis, dependencies and progress reporting.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing or EPC environments would be advantageous.
