ersg are working with a major investor/developer of Utility-Scale BESS projects across the UK to recruit a Senior Project Manager. As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project execution plans.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Lead regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
- Act as the primary interface with clients, EPC contractors, suppliers, consultants, utilities, and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, HSE, construction, commissioning, and commercial teams.
- Manage contract deliverables and change orders.
- Review contractor payment applications.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
- Monitor contractor HSE performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline. Also, demonstrable experience of delivering Utility-Scale BESS projects.
