That\’s why we work exclusively with motor insurance brokers to help get under the skin of the most difficult insurance risks, helping build products to meet their customer\’s needs.The role The Broker Development & Support Executive (BDSE) will support ERS\’ business development activities by providing support to Regional Development Managers or Strategic Account Managers as well as driving plans and business development activities across their own distinct panel of identified brokers. This is a highly collaborative role, working with colleagues across the business as well as in close co-operation with the Sales and Marketing teams.This role will contribute to the achievement to the Sales and Marketing team\’s business development goals and to ERS\’ financial objectives. This role is predominantly remote, using technology to connect with brokers and team members, with some infrequent UK travel.Key Responsibilities Supporting Regional Development Managers or Strategic Account Managers with inbound broker queries by liaising with internal stakeholders and working through to resolutionSupporting events via outbound communications to maximise event attendance and event follow up with event attendees to explore opportunities and generate leads for follow up via Regional Development Managers or Strategic Account ManagersProviding support in significant broker meetings led by Regional Development Managers and Strategic Account Managers: collation of reports, data and completion of actions logsManaging and driving profitable growth with a panel of identified brokers who have the potential to significantly increase GWP placed with ERSDriving migration of brokers to electronic trading, and support digital migration across Regional Development Managers\’ and Strategic Account Managers\’ panels where requiredDelivering product education and training on relevant products and platforms to targeted brokersEnsuring Regional Development Managers and Strategic Account Managers are kept updated on the status and progress of allocated tasksCommunicating key broker updates to internal stakeholders within the businessOrganising and managing allocated tasks held within the BDSE team as well those being allocated to other teams in the businessEssential Qualifications, Skills And Experience Knowledge and experience working in intermediated UK insurance marketEffective communications skillsStrong Interpersonal skillsAbility to quickly build rapport with brokers and ERS stakeholdersStrong organisational skills to enable prioritisation and completion of tasks in timely mannerCommercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities for further product developmentProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsA team player with demonstrable experience of being part of a highly successful teamDesirable behavioural attributes CommercialityRelationshipsCommunication and influenceDevelopment of self and othersStrategic perspectivesAnalysis and decision makingBenefits Competitive Benchmarked Salary25 days holidayDiscretionary bonus schemeEmployee assistance programmeAnnual holiday buy (up to 3 extra days)Salary sacrifice benefitsAnnual benefits reviewsThe option for professional qualifications and study support
