Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio, a well-established and forward-thinking Mechanical Services and HVAC specialist is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to support the ongoing expansion within their service division covering Edinburgh and the East on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and servicing gas fired appliances and associated HVAC plant & equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine service and maintenance of gas fired appliances and HVAC plant and equipment including boilers, water heaters, pump sets, press units etc.
- Perform mechanical work, including maintenance of pipework, seals, pumps, and pressurisation units.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems across a portfolio of contracted sites.
Essential requirements:
- Served recognised apprenticeship
- ACS Commercial Gas qualified
- Highly skilled in all aspects of servicing and repair work
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Willing to work overtime
- Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks
