Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio, a well-established and forward-thinking Mechanical Services and HVAC specialist is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to support the ongoing expansion within their service division to support a ring fenced commercial contract in Central Edinburgh on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and servicing gas fired appliances and associated HVAC plant & equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine service and maintenance of gas fired appliances and HVAC plant and equipment including boilers, water heaters, pump sets, press units etc.
  • Perform mechanical work, including maintenance of pipework, seals, pumps, and pressurisation units.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems across a portfolio of contracted sites.

Essential requirements:

  • Served recognised apprenticeship
  • ACS Commercial Gas qualified
  • Highly skilled in all aspects of servicing and repair work
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks
