Salary range £50k - 65k depending on experience.
Our client is seeking a Highways Site Agent/Manager to join their team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assisting Framework Managers & Project managers across national & local highways frameworks.
- Flexible and able to work/manage night shifts where required.
- Experienced in CDM & carries a strong, positive Health & Safety culture.
- Writing & briefing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Work Package Plans (WPPs), and Task Briefings.
- Directing day-to-day site operations, including night shift handovers.
- Creating and managing short-term look ahead programmes, setting out milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitoring forecast costs, commercial performance, and helping manage the site budget.
- Assisting in the administration of contracts (such as the NEC suite).
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and tracking site variations.
- Ensuring all construction work meets design and quality specifications.
- Creating & implementing ITP’s.
- Maintaining accurate site diaries, producing progress reports, and managing daily/weekly briefings.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project handover.
Additions to Salaries:
- 10% car allowance or company van/car.
- 3% 0-6% pension contributions. Annual profit share bonus once 12 months are completed.
- 25 days’ annual leave including 7 at Christmas.
- 8 bank holidays.
