Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and structured learning environment
  • Support and inspire pupils, including those with additional and complex needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning abilities
  • Work collaboratively with staff, support workers, and parents to ensure pupil progress

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working with children displaying challenging behaviour
  • Strong classroom management skills and a calm, consistent approach
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset

Desirable

  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and interventions
  • Experience in upper Key Stage 2 settings
