Associate β IP / IT Life Sciences β Cambridge with hybrid working
Client: A top ranked and award-winning international law firm
Role: Based in the Cambridge office and involves working with clients in a variety of sectors, but with a focus on the life sciences and publishing sectors.
- Provide business-oriented advice, and act for SMEs, larger PLCs, multi-national enterprises as well as start-ups, research institutes, charities and spin outs.
- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, and provide a full range of IP and commercial and regulatory advice to clients based locally, and further afield in the wider UK sector and internationally, including in the US.
- Engage in business development activities.
Excellent training and career development is on offer within a collegiate environment.
You: 3+ years PQE. The team sometimes acts as an external resource for overflow of in-house work. In-house experience can therefore be helpful but is not a requirement. Will thrive on close client contact and will relish the exposure to quality client contact right from the start. Excellent academics combined with proven experience in intellectual property and commercial work is required, and an interest in Life Sciences is desirable.
