We are open to engaging with locally based or relocating senior lawyers with experience in the key Cambridge markets - Life Sciences and Technology - who seek a strategic leadership role and a better work-life balance without a compromise on work quality.
Client: A leading UK firm with a Tier 1 Corporate practice and significant experience in the life sciences and technology markets, as well as a proven track record of supporting their employees to progress their career and develop their practice.
Role: Seeking a Corporate Partner to further grow their Venture Capital offering in Cambridge, working closely with established teams and clients across the UK market. A broad Corporate role is available with a clear mandate to increase the VC offering. Currently biased towards Life Sciences and Technology but we would welcome partners with experience in these as well as other sectors. The team advise on all aspects of M&A, private equity and venture capital matters. Commitment from the firm to further grow and support this hire with experienced associates in time.
You: An experienced Corporate lawyer with a distinct interest in the UK Life Sciences and Technology markets, and in developing a stand-alone VC desk over time. Suited to a Partner or partner track lawyer with 8+ years PQE. A following is not strictly required but prior evidence of business development and sector specific experience is preferred.
