An exceptional opportunity to lead the future of Media & Entertainment law within this ambitious firm. This role is based in London (or from another one of this firm's UK offices) with hybrid working.
Client: An award-winning Top UK law firm, which provides the full range of legal services to organisations, business leaders, and individuals.
Role: Become a top leader in Media & Entertainment within this ambitious firm, working with a brilliant team of lawyers who already support:
- Film, stage and TV actors, producers, and production companies, including some high-profile names
- Social media influencers and content creators
- Film support businesses, security teams, and promoters
- Behind-camera personnel, studios, and crew
- Specialist film security teams working with high-profile stars
This firm regularly advises on contract negotiations for individuals involved in the sector, including actors, distributors, and intermediaries. They also advise on general contracts and agreements for productions and events, licensing matters, disputes, and financing of productions.
You should have 9+ years PQE and be ready to help build, provide thought leadership, and make real change in the sector. You must have an understanding of the market, what it takes to advise clients in this space, and want to help shape what comes next for the sector.
