Client

A highly successful Employment Team seeing consistent and continuous growth within a full service, forward thinking UK law firm

Role

  • Working across a number of sectors including education, financial services, construction, transport and private client/agriculture, charities and public sector
  • Expertise is sought in some or all of the below:
    • General employment issues ranging from maternity rights to general contractual issues.
    • Drafting service agreements, contracts of employment and staff handbooks
    • Drafting and reviewing employment policies
    • Transactional corporate support work
    • Wrongful and unfair dismissal
    • Redundancy and restructuring
    • Transfer of Undertakings
    • Employment litigation in the employment tribunal
    • Discrimination (including sex, race, disability and age)
    • Trade union work for employers.
    • Professional Discipline and conduct, including advising professional conduct/fitness to practice panels.

You

  • 3+ years PQE in Employment
  • A motivated initiative-taker
  • Able to think commercially and analytically
  • Interest in and aptitude for business development and growth opportunities
  • Knowledge of clientele within within Essex/London and the surrounding areas, as well as nationally
