Main duties and responsibilities of the successful candidates are to assist the System Manager/Functional Leads in the maintenance & support of DES applications. This includes:
- Change Request (CR) Management: Tracking and monitoring CRs, conducting impact assessments, designing and implementing solutions, facilitating user testing, and providing training as necessary.
- Service Request (SR) Management: Tracking and monitoring SRs, assessing and implementing according to procedures, e.g., data patching requested by users.
- Defect Management: Tracking reported defects, analyzing and troubleshooting, providing workarounds, and ensuring prompt resolution while supporting user testing.
- Operations Support: Monitoring scheduled events, supporting audit activities, responding to user issues, providing on-site support, and resolving functional, performance, or integration issues.
- Reporting: Preparing and submitting monthly reports on CR and SR statuses and incident resolutions to the Deputy Head/Functional Leads.
- System Operation: Ensuring smooth operation and integration of DES with other applications and interfaces, minimizing disruptions.
- Documentation: Reviewing and updating system documentation, including ARIS diagrams/models, FD and TD specifications.
Pre-requisite for SAP Consultant (Cross Application)
- Education Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
- Required Competencies and Experience: At least 2 years in SAP Data Services (ETL, workflows, scheduling); preferably 2 years in SAP BO and/or Qlik Sense; experience with interface technologies like BAPI, iDOC, Batch Input, SAP PI; knowledge of SAP ERP integration; proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL, and scripting tools.
- Ability to design and articulate solutions, work independently, manage timelines, and produce high-quality documentation and presentations.
- Security Clearance: Candidate must undergo security clearance, with necessary information provided to the authorities.
