We’re recruiting for an experienced CCTV & Access Control Engineer to join a leading security company supporting a high-profile client portfolio across the Reading to Swindon region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled security engineer looking for a long-term role with excellent earning potential, specialist system training, and genuine career progression.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of CCTV and access control systems across multiple client sites throughout the Reading to Swindon area. The role will primarily involve working with Lenel access control systems, ensuring all systems remain fully operational, compliant, and reliable. Occasional support on integrated CCTV systems will also form part of the role.
Package & Benefits
- Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
- Company car provided
- Call-out rota: 1 in 5 weeks (£320 standby payment)
- Overtime available:
- 1.5x Monday–Friday
- 2x weekends & bank holidays
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Private healthcare after probation
- Full enterprise-level system training provided
- Clear progression opportunities into: Senior Engineer, Technical Support, Project Engineering roles
Requirements
- Experience servicing and maintaining CCTV & access control systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with Lenel systems preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally based within the Reading / Berkshire / Wiltshire region
