We're recruiting an experienced Fire Suppression Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established fire protection specialist covering just 7 key commercial sites across East London.
You'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining wet risers, dry risers, sprinkler valve sets and sprinkler flow switches, working within a local patch with long-term job security, excellent earning potential and minimal travel.
This role would suit engineers currently working as a Fire Suppression Engineer, Fire Sprinkler Engineer, Sprinkler Service Engineer or Mechanical Fire Protection Engineer.
The Role
As part of the service team, you'll ensure customers' fire protection systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain wet riser and dry riser systems.
- Service and test commercial sprinkler valve sets and flow switches.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Diagnose faults and complete minor remedial repairs where required.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while working safely and efficiently.
About You
We're looking for someone with
- Previous experience servicing wet risers, dry risers, sprinkler systems or commercial fire suppression systems.
- A strong mechanical background with good fault-finding skills.
- Experience carrying out maintenance within commercial buildings.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- What's On Offer
- £55,000 - £65,000 basic salary (depending on experience).
- Overtime available to increase your earnings.
- No call-out rota.
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
- 46.5-hour working week.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Company van, fuel card, uniform and specialist tools.
- Company pension.
- Permanent PAYE position.
- Local patch covering just 7 commercial sites across East London.
