We are a well-established, NSI Gold accredited fire and security company specialising in the installation and maintenance of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning Manager to join our team. This is a key role within the business, offering a mix of hands-on commissioning and technical leadership across multiple projects.
The Role:
As a Fire Alarm Commissioning Manager, you will take ownership of the commissioning process, ensuring all fire alarm systems are fully tested, compliant, and ready for client handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commissioning fire alarm systems and managing final handovers
- Carrying out servicing, PPM, and fault diagnostics
- Supporting project teams with technical expertise
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Conducting site surveys and assisting with system design and quotations
- Performing fire inspections and maintaining associated equipment
Requirements:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable Fire Alarm Commissioning Manager with a strong technical background and attention to detail.
- FIA qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of British Standards for fire alarm and refuge systems
- Proven experience in commissioning and maintaining fire alarm systems
- High standards of workmanship and customer service
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and well-organised
Salary & Benefits:
- £50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
