We are a well-established and growing HVAC company looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our friendly and supportive team, covering Crawley and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer who enjoys a predominantly installation-focused role while still having the variety of maintenance and fault-finding work. With a workload split of approximately 75% installations and 25% service and maintenance, you'll benefit from a diverse range of projects across commercial, residential, and hospitality environments.
The Role
As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of a variety of air conditioning systems. Working both independently and as part of a team, the successful Air Conditioning Engineer will deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems
- Pipework installation, brazing, pressure testing, and commissioning
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine servicing
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repair work
- Replacement of components and system upgrades
- Performance testing, commissioning, and client handovers
- Completion of service reports and compliance documentation
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with industry standards
