Fire Alarm Projects & Commissioning Engineer
London | £55,000 + Company Vehicle / Allowance + Benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Alarm Projects & Commissioning Engineer to join an established Fire & Security company, delivering commercial fire alarm projects across London.
This is a varied role combining hands-on commissioning, system programming, technical problem-solving and project coordination, with genuine opportunities for career progression.
The Role
- Commission, programme and test fire alarm systems, including Cause & Effect.
- Coordinate installation projects, engineers and subcontractors.
- Carry out site surveys, pre-commissioning checks and complex fault-finding.
- Ensure compliance with BS 5839 and relevant industry standards.
- Complete system handovers, client training and commissioning certification.
- Provide technical support on complex fire alarm systems and networks.
Requirements
- Strong experience commissioning commercial fire alarm systems.
- Confident programming addressable fire alarm panels.
- Good knowledge of BS 5839 and Cause & Effect.
- Experience supporting project delivery and coordinating site works.
- FIA qualifications or equivalent preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
