Reports to: AI Pipeline Lead

Engagement: Production phase

Location: UK (mix of relocated and locally hired)

ROLE SUMMARY

Execute the bulk of shot generation across the film. Work in close collaboration with the AI Pipeline Lead and Visual Dev Lead to deliver shot-ready footage at consistent quality and velocity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate assigned shots from concept references and prompt templates.
  • Maintain visual and continuity consistency within assigned sequences.
  • Iterate on shots based on director and Visual Dev Lead notes.
  • Contribute to crowd, background, and secondary character work.
  • Document successful prompt patterns and share with the team.
  • Manage own daily delivery schedule against shot allocations.
  • Participate in daily standups and weekly creative reviews.

RECOMMENDED HIRING PROCESS

Build a paid test exercise into recruitment: provide candidates with fixed reference assets from the visual bible plus a one-line shot description, and ask them to produce a short output using their preferred tools. This reveals taste, speed, and tool-fluency far better than a portfolio review alone.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 1-4 years of generative video work, ideally with exposure to narrative or commercial production.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating cinematic sensibility, prompt fluency, and tool versatility.
  • Experience with Seedance, Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to execute within an established visual bible and prompt grammar.
  • Quick learner, strong communicator, comfortable with iteration cycles.
  • Mid-level artists must demonstrate ability to deliver shot-ready footage with minimal supervision.
