Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding UK and international tax advisory projects and support growth in the private capital market.
  • Drive the creation and growth of key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service.
  • Help people to develop through supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Manage the team in terms of strategy, operations, staff development and assignments.
  • Provide high‑level familiarity and practical tax knowledge in advising individuals, families and their investment structures; UK corporate tax and/or partnership matters.
  • Deliver pragmatic, solution‑oriented advice in a commercial context.
  • Identify and convert business development opportunities to sell work.
  • Ensure delivery of quality work and provide day‑to‑day leadership of the delivery team.
  • Maintain computer literacy and adapt to new systems.

Qualifications

  • ACA, CTA, Tax Inspector or equivalent with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification.
  • Strong tax technical skills.
  • Initiative, professionalism and confidence.
  • Experience of coaching and developing junior staff.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Ability to motivate a team, manage, mentor and train junior staff and work with people across the business.
