As a Senior Manager in Cybersecurity, you will leverage diverse ideas and perspectives to deliver technical excellence and provide relevant insights to our clients. You will play a pivotal role in managing cybersecurity engagements, building client relationships, and leading teams to develop innovative solutions that address complex security challenges.

Deliver high-quality cybersecurity engagements, ensuring alignment with EY's standards of technical excellence and client satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, leveraging these connections to effectively execute work and understand their business agendas. Maintain open and proactive communication with clients and stakeholders, building credibility by staying informed about their businesses and industry trends. Analyze long-term trends and identify financial implications of various business strategies, promoting EY's services and values. Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation. Foster a positive team environment by mentoring and coaching junior staff, conducting performance reviews, and contributing to their professional development. Support business development activities, including proposal writing and impactful presentations to potential clients. Contribute to recruiting, retaining, and training cybersecurity professionals, ensuring a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality cybersecurity engagements aligned with EY standards and client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; understand client business agendas and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Analyze market and industry trends; identify financial implications of business strategies.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor project plans; ensure timely delivery and efficient resource allocation.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff; conduct performance reviews and contribute to professional development.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing and presentations to potential clients.
  • Contribute to recruiting, retention, and training of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Establish credibility and demonstrate expertise quickly in client interactions.
  • Deliver outputs that meet objectives and deadlines; communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and encourage open communication.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience delivering cybersecurity solutions, either in an operational or consulting capacity.
  • High level of drive and commitment to achieving solutions; ability to work under pressure in unstructured environments.
  • Expertise in developing impactful written presentations and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Specialization in one or more of the following areas: Identity and Access Management; Data Privacy and Protection; Security Architecture; Operational Technology Security; Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

Ideal / Additional Qualifications

  • Security-related qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISMP, ISO27001 lead implementer or auditor, CMBI, or IAPP.
  • Experience operating within an NCSC Assured Cyber Consultancy.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity regulatory landscape and assessment frameworks (e.g., NIS2, NIST CSF).
  • Key delivery experience in cybersecurity strategy, transformation, and compliance.
