The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Tax specialist to join our busy Corporate Tax Renewables sector in London. This team works across the renewables sector from institutional investors through the asset developers giving you the chance to develop and further enhance your knowledge of this exciting and growing sector (sector knowledge isn’t essential to any potential candidates and the opportunity to train and develop will be provided). EY’s approach to compliance in this sector leverages the best technologies, processes and teams that is now supplemented by AI, which enables the renewables team to not only deliver a high standard of tax compliance and reporting but also partner more with clients to identify and deliver wider value add opportunities. The scope to combine advisory and compliance work across your portfolio is available. The renewables team is closely supported by the global delivery service team in India which provides an opportunity to travel as part of the role and play a key role in their development. The team has a leading track record of progression within the team (through to partner) and current growth trajectory of team means this is an exciting time to join and develop your career with EY.

- Significant experience in Corporate Tax from practice or from an in‑house tax background
- Strong client relationship management skills

Your Key Responsibilities
- Grow and maintain relationships with clients, both existing and new clients
- High level management of the successful delivery of technically complex advisory, compliance and reporting engagements
- Providing exceptional client service with responsibility for quality provided
- Working collaboratively with other tax specialist teams
- Grow networks and relationships internally and externally
- Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff
- Lead team initiatives, covering all aspects of leading a successful team
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Experienced corporate tax practitioner (Minimum of 4 years’ experience)
- ACA / CA / ACCA / CTA Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification/ Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification
