You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients spanning Financial Services, the Public Sector, and the Private Sector. Our Applied AI Engineering teams deliver production-grade AI systems in regulated financial institutions as well as government, health, infrastructure, consumer, industrial and energy organisations. This cross-sector model gives you broad exposure to different regulatory environments, data landscapes and operating models, while building deep engineering capability that transfers across industries.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders; translate requirements into engineering tasks; support workshops, demos and solution reviews; drive adoption through testing and iteration.
- Solution design & implementation: design and implement RAG pipelines, agents, microservices and integrations; apply monitoring, evaluation and Responsible AI guardrails.
- Product mindset & continuous improvement: shape MVP scope, backlog and release planning; capture reusable patterns and contribute to shared accelerators.
What we're looking for
- Essential: Strong Python/TypeScript; async patterns; API design; testing/CI; microservice fundamentals. Hands‑on LLMs, embeddings, vector databases; retrieval strategies and grounding. Cloud engineering (Azure preferred), Docker/Kubernetes, serverless; secure networking/IAM. Data engineering fundamentals (Spark/Databricks; ETL/ELT) and operational handover. Consulting behaviours: stakeholder engagement and clear, client‑ready communication.
- Nice to have: Document/graph stores; streaming (Event Hub/Kafka); cloud architecture exposure and governance credentials.
