Overview
You would take a leading role in growing the Restructuring tax team nationally through:
- Developing a close working relationship with the FR practice to be first point-of-contact on tax matters
- Developing a role within the broader Tax practice to become a go-to contact for Restructuring-related expertise
- Providing tax input into: corporate reorganisations, business reviews and contingency planning, accelerated M&A processes, and legal entity rationalisation projects
- Insolvency appointments and processes including schemes of arrangement and restructuring plans
The role can be based in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, with hybrid working and flexibility supported.
Qualifications
- ACA/ATT/CTA or international equivalent / Law qualification
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in M&A tax and/or Restructuring tax
- A client-focused mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Commercial awareness and experience identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
- Proven experience coaching and developing junior team members
