The financial transactions TP ("FTTP") team supports large multi‑national enterprises with the transfer pricing considerations relevant for loans, cash pooling, guarantees, hedging arrangements, trade finance and Treasury functions. We work with clients across the transfer pricing lifecycle, supporting with the design, implementation, documentation and controversy for the TP of these transactions. As a member of this team, you will gain exposure to many clients from large key accounts to private markets clients looking for more holistic advice, across industries. We work on everything from high‑profile transactions and controversy projects, cutting edge design projects to global documentation projects.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful delivery of transfer pricing projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business focused approach taken.
  • Build and maintain relationships with your internal network and with our clients.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and provide high levels of client service.
  • Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
  • Contribute to successfully generating value for both EY and clients from the transfer pricing services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both client and the firm.
  • Team player; ability to integrate with new teams quickly.
  • Good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output.
  • Strong technical skills (ideally focused on financial concepts and economics) and keen to develop further.
  • Excellent communicator in range of situations both written and oral.
  • Ability to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer/consult upwards.
  • Client focused and commercially aware.

  • Project management skills, plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines, monitor own budget and time.
  • Degree or postgraduate degree essential ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA; or CFA; or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification.
