We are seeking an experienced Manager, Corporate Tax specialist to join our busy Corporate Tax team in Luton and Cambridge. The role will involve working with a wide range of large and complex multinational companies, providing high‑profile consulting services, and helping them develop and implement effective, practical and sustainable tax strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proactive business development to add value to existing and new clients.
- Manage the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and a business‑driven approach.
- Provide development support to junior team members through supervision, coaching and mentoring.
- Contribute to people initiatives, including retaining and training our team.
- Stay client‑driven while being strategically and commercially aware.
Qualifications
- Strong corporate tax technical skills.
- Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to deliver high‑quality outputs.
- Negotiation skills and ability to sustain opinions and handle challenges.
- Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
- Effective time management; ability to remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good knowledge of advising a range of companies including listed, PE‑backed, family‑owned and OMB.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a corporate tax practitioner.
- Qualification: ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA, Tax Inspectors with full technical training course/Law qualification, tax specialist qualification, or equivalent breadth of knowledge.
Location
Based in Luton or Cambridge, with flexibility to work remotely and two days in the office.
