Our current work is typically focused on applying our deep sector & strategy knowledge to various types of projects, including:

  • Commercial due diligence
  • Strategy development and assessment
  • Market entry strategy and opportunity sizing
  • Product and business unit strategy development
  • Divestment options analysis

You will work with a high-performing, integrated team which focuses on a variety of global and local corporate clients and private equity clients. We are seeking to expand our team with Consultants who will work across a range of sectors. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for structuring and executing significant portions of analysis, including drawing out implications for the client and creating clear storylines. Over time, Consultants typically begin to step into leadership roles, managing small teams to produce client-ready deliverables on a project. EY-Parthenon has a very flat structure which will allow you to become actively involved in many levels of client work. You will often be asked to present your analysis for clients and play a key role in helping to develop and execute work plans.

Given the demands of such an accelerated role, your skills as a consultant are highly tuned in the areas of analytics, communications, teamwork, and leadership. Internally, you will be responsible for helping to develop a community within the team via internal initiatives such as Learning, Operations, Resourcing, Recruitment, etc. In addition, you typically will get involved in key strategic initiatives such as the generation of proprietary intellectual capital.

At the Consultant level, you will begin taking responsibility for developing the recommendations that will ultimately be implemented by our clients, whilst also learning how to contribute to and grow EY-Parthenon's business through internal practice building and contributing to new business development. You will have opportunities to learn from a wide variety of senior team members through counselling relationships, mentoring, and coaching. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing small teams of Associates to produce deliverables within a work stream of a project
  • Owning the problem solving for part of a project – including understanding key client issues and designing the analysis needed to address them
  • Independently performing primary and secondary research including data gathering, interviews, and surveys
  • Planning and developing analytics, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Crafting and delivering client-ready "story lines" (the output to narrate the solution to the client's problem) for both client and Business Development Work
  • Fostering an inclusive culture throughout the team and within engagements
  • Contributing to internal firm building initiatives

Qualifications

  • Be educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent
  • Have a minimum of 2 years working experience in a strategy consulting, transaction advisory or corporate finance role
  • Have both quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Be clear and concise in your communication skills, and be able to engage effectively with both clients and team members
  • Possess a desire and ability to solve complex and open-ended client problems
  • Ideally, be good at building productive working relationships with clients and EY-Parthenon team members
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced team environment
  • Have a vitality and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge
  • Demonstrate good business acumen and experience, ideally across different sectors
