The predicted salary is between 55000 - 65000 £ per year.
As a Senior Consultant within the Remediation Team, your typical engagements include:
- Supporting firms undertaking past business reviews and remediation programmes
- Supporting firms respond to actions agreed with the FCA including Section 166 reviews
- Supporting firms with issue identification and health checks, including assessing the quality of advice given by a firm in relation to financial products, assessing a firm's systems, or validating the measures taken by a firm to correct issues
- Working as part of a team to support the design and/or execution of remediation activities
- Product/file reviews and/or quality assurance support
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the articulation of EY findings, conclusions and recommendations in writing or verbally
- Provide input into the application of regulatory standards and support the development of solutions to resolve complex regulatory risks and issues
- Support engagement leaders to deliver key projects on a day-to-day basis
- Support engagement planning, management, and lead small teams in engagements
- Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support and updating senior members on progress
- Help build proposals in response to new client opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- An understanding of financial markets and regulatory standards and an ability to translate these into client solutions
- Sound technical knowledge of financial products and/or customer-facing regulated activities (e.g. complaint handling)
- Strong academic background, ideally to a degree level or equivalent
- FPC or QCF Level 4 qualified (preferable but not required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentations
- Ability to prioritise and challenge
- Ability to work in a consulting role, with the ability to build networks and relationships internally and externally
