Overview We are seeking an experienced AI and Data Strategy Senior Consultant to help shape and deliver enterprise-wide AI transformation initiatives for clients across the infrastructure industry.
This role requires a strategic business technologist who can translate AI, data and automation capabilities into tangible business value while designing the organisational frameworks needed to become an AI-first enterprise.
Responsibilities Define comprehensive AI, data and automation strategies tailored to client organisations across sectors including consumer products, retail, health, energy and life sciences.
Support in-depth analysis of industry-specific value chains and identify a portfolio of high-impact AI, data and automation use cases to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency and competitive differentiation.
Assess organisational AI and data landscape maturity and create tailored roadmaps for transformation in areas such as operating models, organisational structure and capabilities required to deliver the strategy.
Contribute to the development of high-level business and technology architectures and operating models that enable scalable AI deployment (encompassing both data and automation).
Support project leadership in cross-functional workshops and design sessions with senior stakeholders to align diverse groups around a unified AI vision.
Create content to articulate complex AI and agentic concepts and recommendations to senior leadership audiences.
Conduct analysis that informs prioritisation of AI initiatives based on strategic value, feasibility, and organisational readiness.
Contribute to solution development for high-impact bid responses and proposals for AI-led transformation.
Qualifications STEM degree or equivalent certification in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience contributing to enterprise-level AI strategies for complex or multinational organisations.
Familiarity with the design of operating models and organisational structures for data and AI functions.
Familiarity and understanding of AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, predictive analytics, NLP, data and Intelligent Automation.
Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, model risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Soft skills: communication, storytelling and presentation skills; facilitation and workshop design capabilities with ability to influence senior stakeholders; experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams; continuous learning mindset; strategic thinking to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with modern data governance frameworks and architectures, cloud platforms, and AI infrastructure including DAMA.
