Overview

The Ingestion team develops the core platform pipelines to extract, transform and load data into our estate while applying our governance principles. The team creates inbound core platform capabilities, infrastructure, and individual data product pipelines that supply EY with a rich estate of data.

The Consumption team builds the capabilities that allow EY's products and Service Line practitioners to discover, explore and consume our estate of data. This includes APIs, a user interface, and connectors that enable products and people to access data safely and securely.

The Activation team helps customers discover and use our platform. Activities range from conducting demos and producing customer‑facing materials to gathering requirements, adding them to our product backlog, and managing accounts so that customers are aware of product development, upcoming changes and maintenance windows.

The EY.ai Data Marketplace is a platform built and operated by EY’s Growth & Innovation portfolio under EY’s Global Data Office. It ingests, governs and distributes external, commercial and open data across EY’s Service Lines and platforms. Currently, it operates 46 data products, contains over 130 million files, and delivers more than 1 TB of data per week with tens of thousands of weekly API calls.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the respective pillar Product Managers and leading the product strategy and vision for the Ingestion, Consumption, and Activation teams, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Collaborating with the Product Lead to define and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing short‑term needs with long‑term strategic objectives.
  • Managing and mentoring the Ingestion, Consumption and Activation Product Managers, providing guidance and support to drive their success.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs that inform product development.
  • Facilitating cross‑functional collaboration between engineering, architecture and go‑to‑market teams to ensure successful product launches and enhancements.
  • Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Engaging with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, translating them into actionable product requirements.
  • Championing a customer‑centric approach within the product team, ensuring that customer needs are at the forefront of product decisions.
  • Preparing and presenting product updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a technology or data‑driven environment, with a track record of successful product launches.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of product managers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in agile product development methodologies and project management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity and understanding of data platforms, APIs and user interfaces.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to balance customer needs with business objectives.
