Director – International Corporate Tax Advisory (ICTA) We are looking for a senior tax professional to lead client engagement teams, deliver high‑quality advisory services, and drive business growth in international tax.

Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with clients, win work proactively, and contribute to winning new clients and growing existing accounts.

Manage the delivery of complex advisory projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/commercial focus.

Take overall responsibility for the quality of client service.

Build networks and relationships internally and externally, collaborating with other EY UK and global teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities.

Build and develop client engagement teams, supervising, coaching and mentoring junior staff.

Manage team strategy, operations and junior staff development and assignments.

Deliver strong UK tax technical advice on cross‑border matters such as CFCs, anti‑hybrid rules, loan relationships, intellectual property and Pillar2.

Maintain a client‑focused and commercially aware approach, delivering quality outputs.

Use negotiation skills to handle complexity and nuance.

Identify and convert business development opportunities to grow the market.

Manage engagement financial results and maintain strong business acumen.

Manage time effectively and remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines.

Communicate clearly in a range of situations.

Create, develop and sustain high‑performing teams, demonstrating enthusiasm and teamwork.

Show change orientation and innovative, flexible approaches to work and new technologies.

Qualifications Strong tax technical skills with significant experience providing tax advice to large MNCs on complex cross‑border issues.

Deep understanding of UK tax, particularly in cross‑border contexts: CFCs, anti‑hybrid rules, loan relationships, intellectual property, and Pillar2.

Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage engagement financial outcomes.

Excellent communicator and effective time manager.

Preferred Professional qualification – ATT / ACA / CA / CTA.
