We are excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a driven professional to join our Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT) team as a Level 2 Operational Transfer Pricing (OpTP) Senior Associate. Operational Transfer Pricing (OpTP) is about applying transfer pricing rules in everyday business operations. It ensures intercompany transactions follow tax regulations and company policies, while improving accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
In this role, you will assist multinational clients in transforming their operational transfer pricing processes through advanced tax technology solutions (including Enterprise Reporting Platforms systems (ERP), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms stand-alone solutions and low-code platforms). You will support OpTP implementation, data analysis, and process optimization, ensuring regulatory compliance while improving efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in tax technology and OpTP while collaborating with experienced professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing OpTP solutions with an emphasis on improving processes, compliance, efficiency and better decision making - this includes drafting user requirements, process mappings, Data flows diagrams, functional and technical design documents, among other documents depending on the deployment methodologies.
- Implement OpTP solutions by collaborating in the configuration, development, unit testing, preparing test scripts and project management activities.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, including international tax, finance, group tax reporting, and IT, to develop integrated OpTP solutions.
- Contribute to preparation of proposals, business development materials, and client presentations.
- Work closely with senior team members, keeping the team up to date of progress, raising timely concerns and working in highly collaborative teams.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of hands-on Operational Transfer pricing, transfer pricing, FP&A or related experience in finance teams with TP exposure (in-house or professional services).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 etc) and their tax/finance modules, with knowledge of tax technology solutions a plus.
- Advanced understanding of financial statements (P&L) and its impact of transfer pricing on statutory reporting and processes around intercompany transactions or tax compliance.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with low-code platforms or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tax concepts and data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, enthusiastic attitude toward learning and growing in operational transfer pricing and tax technology.
Understanding of transfer pricing concepts (e.g., arm's-length pricing, cost-sharing, profit allocation). Exposure to automation tools for process optimization. Experience supporting large-scale projects or ERP/system implementations. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACA/ACCA qualification is preferable.
