In your role as an EY Manager you will have responsibility for designing & delivering key aspects of our technology projects within our client base.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a work stream within an SAP Enterprise Data & Analytics project team on a client‑facing engagement, working effectively across the full lifecycle delivery of a large, complex technology programme.
  • Deliver technology solutions in line with leading practices.
  • Engage and collaborate with clients' stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
  • Build excellent client relationships.
  • Work as part of a high performing team, mentoring junior members of staff.
  • Design and develop data models on the following tools including formulas, rule‑based logic, calculated fields, currency conversions, exception aggregations, time‑dependent logic, hierarchy management, master data modelling and metadata governance:
    • SAP Datasphere
    • SAP BW/4HANA and/or SAP BW and/or BW on HANA (inc. SAP BW ABAP)
    • Query and semantic modelling (BEx, BW/4HANA Queries, Datasphere Analytic Models) for scalable consumption through SAP and non‑SAP reporting layers, with understanding on how to create a back end for performant reporting.
  • Experience in delivering analytical reporting data provisioning and orchestration including Datasphere DataFlows, replication flows, task chains / process chains and job orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and best practices including layered scalable architecture (LSA/LSA++), data extraction mechanisms including ODP extractions (CDS, SAPI) with the ability to design and build these in S/4 HANA.
  • Ability to design cross‑system integration, combining SAP and non‑SAP sources using SAP Datasphere integration services, HANA Smart Data Access (SDA), or Smart Data Integration (SDI).
  • Positioning the features and options for use of SAP BDC in an integration pattern with a non‑SAP cloud platform, and the wider benefits of SAP BDC.
  • Hands‑on, full lifecycle project delivery experience (Build, Test & Deploy phases) including workshop planning and delivery, requirements & backlog definition, data model design, creation of Functional & Technical specifications and system configuration.
  • Experience in delivery ownership. Able to accurately scope pieces of work and then create, own, and manage a delivery plan for deliverables.
  • Pro‑actively manage RAID items within your workstream and outwards to other workstreams / upwards to support broader project dependencies and timelines.
  • In‑depth knowledge of at least one SAP process area and how this data is structured in S/4 HANA / ECC with experience designing end to end data analytical models (source SAP to Datawarehouse to application) in at least this area.
  • System administration tasks including transport management process in SAP data warehousing tools.
  • Security implementation in SAP tools (data access control, row‑level security, and audit capabilities).

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable ability to manage work streams.
  • Understanding of the full life cycle of SAP Enterprise Data & Analytics implementations.
  • Experience working with waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience delivering Enterprise Data & Analytics projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build "Trusted Adviser" relationships.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required to client sites on specific engagements.

Ideal

  • Experience in non‑SAP cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake etc).
  • An understanding of the SAP roadmap and industry trends.
  • Wider industry / sector expertise (beyond one core S/4 process) would be advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP Reporting tools including SAP Analytics Cloud and S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics.
  • Experience with SAP AI products.
