We are seeking an experienced Immigration Manager to join our busy UK Inbound Immigration team. As part of our client service group, you will supervise and manage engagements under the direction of Partners and Directors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and efficient immigration services to our clients. You will play a key leadership role in client relationship management, team development, and business growth initiatives within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The Global Immigration team within EY's People Advisory Services practice is the largest single-brand provider of immigration services worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support junior team members through effective communication, feedback, and career development.
- Drive engagement, learning, and retention through EY's performance and development initiatives.
- Contribute to recruitment, training, and wider people initiatives.
- Oversee time recording, budgeting, billing, and cash collection to meet financial targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
- Share insights, best practices, and thought leadership to enhance EY's market presence.
- Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Manage client engagements from scope to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Review immigration applications and advisory work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide expert advice on UK immigration regulations and serve as a trusted business advisor.
- Maintain timely communication with clients and ensure accurate data management.
Qualifications:
- Japanese language skills (business level).
- Extensive business immigration experience, with strong knowledge of UK Skilled Worker visa and Global Business Mobility (GBM) categories.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and budgets.
- Proficient in MS Office, BIT, and visa preparation software.
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and commercial awareness.
- Experienced in leading, coaching, and developing junior team members.
- Deep understanding of UK immigration regulations and policy developments, with the ability to provide practical and compliant advice.
