Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting projects in the healthcare sector, focusing on the application of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve productivity, enable digital transformation, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their healthcare-specific needs and develop tailored AI solutions that address operational, clinical, and strategic challenges.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI and automations.
  • Analyse healthcare systems, policies, and data to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation and improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to gather insights, drive consensus, and ensure successful adoption of AI solutions.
  • Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering AI and data literacy within the health sector team.
  • Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging AI technologies to inform consulting strategies and recommendations.
  • Contribute to business development and solution design for health sector clients, supporting bids and proposals with AI expertise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering AI, automation, or data analytics projects within the healthcare sector (in particular the NHS).
  • Strong understanding of UK (in particular NHS) healthcare systems, policies, and operational challenges, with the ability to translate these into AI-enabled solutions.
  • Proficiency in AI and automation tools (e.g., Blue Prism, UiPath, Knime, Alteryx) and data analysis methodologies.
  • Experience with clinical standards such as SNOMED, LOINC and OMOP (desirable).
  • Knowledge of clinical integration technologies such as FHIR, HL7 (desirable).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects and teams, delivering results for health sector clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with healthcare clients and stakeholders.
